Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy training program preferred.
• Previous hospital or clinical phlebotomy experience preferred.
• National phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Identify patients using approved procedures.
• Label, process, and transport specimens per protocols.
• Ensure specimen quality and integrity for accurate testing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Practice infection prevention and universal precautions.
• Enter specimen information into LIS accurately.
• Assist with laboratory clerical duties as needed.
• Stock supplies and maintain inventory.
• Provide courteous, compassionate service to patients and staff.
• Follow hospital policies, HIPAA, OSHA, and lab procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
