UT Health San Antonio is seeking a PRN phlebotomist to provide phlebotomy services for the phlebotomy team. This 0.1 FTE position has no regular schedule and hours will vary based on staffing and operational needs.

Preferred availability is Monday through Friday, with coverage needed during either the 4:00 AM-12:30 PM or 1:00 PM–8:30 PM time frame. Responsibilities include properly identifying patients, drawing blood, labeling specimens, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate test collection

Qualifikationen

• One year experience drawing blood or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to apply standard safety and infection control procedures.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

The PRN Phlebotomist is responsible for providing phlebotomy services for the phlebotomy team.

Schedule and FTE Expectations: This is a PRN (as-needed) position at 0.1 FTE. This role does not have a set, regular schedule, and hours will vary based on staffing and operational needs. Preferred availability is Monday through Friday, with coverage needed during either the 4:00 AM-12:30 PM or 1:00 PM–8:30 PM time frame. Candidates should be comfortable with a flexible, as-needed schedule and be available to assist based on departmental needs.

Responsibilities

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPT Certified Phlebotomy Technician is required.
