Job summary

Duly Health & Care is hiring a Phlebotomist for PRN shifts at our Westmont and Elmhurst locations. The role requires travel to additional sites as needed and involves venipuncture blood collection, specimen preparation, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, and a national phlebotomy certification or be eligible to sit for the exam. Prior phlebotomy experience or a related healthcare background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred.
• Prior phlebotomy experience OR completion of a certified phlebotomy program with healthcare experience preferred.
• Moderate knowledge of medical terminology and strong verbal/written communication skills preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all agegroups.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing andanalysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen informationlogs.
• Provide superior customer service to allpatients.
• Clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel toadditionalsites whenneeded.

Education

• High School graduate or equivalent required
• National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred
• Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred.
• Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.65-26.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
