Job summary

Duly Health & Care is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to support Westmont, Elmhurst, Hinsdale and nearby sites. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture across all ages and prepare specimens for testing.

You will maintain logs, provide friendly patient service, handle clerical tasks, and travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma is required; National Phlebotomy Certification is preferred; prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred.
• Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred.
• Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all age groups.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Clerical duties as necessary.
