Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, Louisiana’s leading cancer care provider, is seeking a PRN Phlebotomy Tech to support our Essen Lane Laboratory Services team in Baton Rouge. You will collect specimens, perform venipuncture, greet patients professionally, and register them into the lab system to ensure smooth processing.
Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of a phlebotomy training program, and 2 years of lab experience; oncology experience is preferred.

THIS IS A PRN (AS NEEDED) POSITION THAT SUPPORTS OUR LAB SERVICES TEAM AT OUR ESSEN LANE LOCATION IN BATON ROUGE, LA.
Collect specimens for laboratory analysis, and prepare for processing by the laboratory. Greet and receive all patients in a professional, warm, and efficient manner. Utilizing the laboratory software; register patients into the system for proper specimen processing. Make sure to maximize in‑house lab processing.
