Job summary

Iberia Comprehensive Community Health Center seeks a PRN Pharmacy Technician to support multiple Acadiana locations including New Iberia. You will process and fill prescription orders under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and assist with inventory, records, and billing tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completed a board-approved pharmacy technician education/training program.
• Must demonstrate evidence of at least 600 hours of practical experience under a pharmacist preceptor.
• Must have completed and passed a board-approved technician examination and maintain CE hours.

Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescription orders under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Provide assistance to the pharmacist in delivering professional services.
• Monitor patient profiles, records, invoices, and inventory levels.
• Maintain the efficiency of the Pharmacy Department.
