QualityHealth Pharmacy – Florida (QHP‑FL) is a fully owned subsidiary of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health System and is looking for a PRN Pharmacy Technician to help drive progress and fulfill our mission of serving those with cognitive and behavioral differences. Pay rate will be $19.00 to $21.66 per hour based on experience.
Availability for working during the week, 8 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Additional shifts may be added on weekends and evenings as needed.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other dedicated professionals and deliver medication in a safe, efficient and effective manner under the direction of a pharmacist.
- Fill, package, and ship medication and pharmaceutical supplies according to regulatory requirements.
- Assist with inventory control including receiving and stocking of pharmacy supplies.
- Complete and submit required documents and paperwork such as prescription records, reports, monthly medication charge and usage reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED.
- Minimum of three (3) years previous pharmacy technician experience, long‑term care pharmacy experience preferred.
- Certified Pharmacy PTCB preferred and required to obtain within the first year of employment.
- Registration with the FL Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician required within the first 90 days of employment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Proficiency with pharmacy information system software; QS‑1 PrimeCare experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment.
- Multitasker with ability to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and car required.
