Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three years experience as a pharmacy technician with long-term care preferred.
  • PTCB certification preferred and must be obtained within the first year.
  • NJ Board of Pharmacy registration required within 90 days.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with QS-1 PrimeCare or similar pharmacy software preferred.
  • Strong customer service and team-work abilities.
  • Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car.

Responsibilities

  • Fill, package, and ship medications and supplies under a pharmacist's direction.
  • Assist with inventory control including receiving and stocking supplies.
  • Complete and submit required documents and paperwork (prescription records, reports, monthly medication charge/usage reports).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QualityHealth Pharmacy – New Jersey (QHP-NJ) is a fully owned subsidiary of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health System. QHP-NJ is looking for Full and Part-time pharmacy technicians to help drive progress and fulfill our mission of serving those with cognitive and behavioral differences.

Hours:

Working full or part-time hours from 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Additional shifts may be added on weekends and evenings as needed.

Pay range:

$19.00/hour to $21.66/hour.

QHP-NJ which is located in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join our team. Under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager. You will be responsible for collaborating with our teams, providing extraordinary customer service to our internal and external customers, to deliver medication in in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

  • Fill, package, and ship medication and pharmaceutical supplies according to regulatory requirements under the direction of a pharmacist;
  • Assist with inventory control including receiving and stocking of pharmacy supplies;
  • Complete and submit required documents and paperwork, e.g., prescription records, reports, monthly medication charge and usage reports;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three (3) years previous pharmacy technician with, long-term care pharmacy experience preferred;
  • Certified Pharmacy PTCB preferred and will be required to obtain within the first year of employment
  • Registration with the NJ Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician required within first 90 days of employment;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office products;
  • Proficiency in Pharmacy information system software, with QS-1 PrimeCare experience preferred;
  • Strong customer service skills and team player with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment;
  • Multi-tasker with ability to meet deadlines;
  • Valid driver’s license and car is required.
