Job summary
Medical City Frisco, part of Medical City Healthcare, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician PRN to support daily pharmacy operations with accuracy and efficiency. You will assist with dispensing, compounding, ADC duties, and collaborate closely with pharmacists to ensure safe patient care.
The role requires a Texas-registered Pharmacy Technician, a CPhT certification, and at least 1 year of experience. Compliance with USP 797 and documentation standards is essential, with opportunities for
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required or active registration
- Pharmacy Technician license valid in Texas
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting
- Knowledge of USP 797 and aseptic technique preferred
Responsibilities
- Identify issues, prioritize workload and communicate promptly
- Maintain required documentation logs and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist with medication storage, security, and audits
- Perform ADC duties, restock, and troubleshoot ADC issues
- Support pharmacists with medication reconciliation and clinical reviews
- Process billing, OR charges, and pharmacy transactions
- Prepare parenteral admixtures and ensure final checks by pharmacists
