St. Vincent de Paul Georgia Community Pharmacy provides maintenance medications at no cost. The PRN Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacy Director with operations as needed and supports the team, ensuring accuracy in dosing, labeling and record-keeping.

Applicants should be available Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and maintain patient confidentiality per HIPPA guidelines while stocking, processing prescriptions and coordinating with physicians as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license issued by the GA Board of Pharmacy preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and capable of handling confidential information.
• Experience with pharmacy calculations and terminology is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPPA guidelines.
• Assist pharmacy team with screening and processing applications.
• Establish and maintain patient profiles in pharmacy software.
• Prepare medications and label products accurately.
• Receive and input prescription orders into the system.
• Dispense medications and OTC products per procedures.
• Place orders and manage inventory of medicines and supplies.
• Provide patients with information about their prescriptions.
