Job summary

St. Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA is seeking a part-time PRN pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services within a hospital setting. You will dispense, monitor, and control medications and biologics, and discuss changes with the Director or Pharmacy Services to ensure optimal patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold a Georgia Pharmacist License (or be eligible) and have a B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD. Hospital or long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed all Georgia Licensure requirements and maintain a current Georgia Pharmacy License.
• Education: A Bachelor or Science degree in pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Experience: Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy or long-term care experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services at St. Mary’s Health Care System utilizing concepts of pharmaceutical care.
• Include dispensing, control and monitoring medications and biologicals used in the facility.

Shift: Day Shift.

Description: PRN shifts needed: weekdays & various weekends. Provide comprehensive pharmacy services at St. Mary's Health Care System utilizing concepts of pharmaceutical care.
