Job summary
AdventHealth seeks a Pharmacy Technician to perform core duties including dispensing, sterile compounding, and inventory management under pharmacist supervision. The role covers central and decentralized operations with adherence to USP guidelines and safety standards.
The candidate will support quality improvement initiatives, work with nurses and pharmacists, and participate in training and mentorship of peers. Florida-based, PRN day/weekend schedule; background screening required.
Qualifications
- High School Grad or Equiv required.
- 1+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience, retail or ambulatory experience required.
- Active State Pharmacy Technician registration required. Licenses: RPhT or Licensed Pharmacy Technician (RPhT).

Responsibilities
- Dispense and prepare medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Operate automation systems and ADCs; manage inventory and sterile compounding.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety across shifts and departments.
