Job summary

Curant Health is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to join its team in Wichita, KS. You will serve as the primary link between patients, physicians, and pharmacy, accurately filling prescriptions and maintaining patient records.

The role requires Kansas registration as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably with 2 years of retail pharmacy experience and strong communication skills to support our patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be currently registered in Kansas as a Pharmacy Technician.
• 2 years pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fills prescriptions by retrieving prescription orders; counting, pouring, measuring or weighing medication tablets, liquids, and creams; mixing or reconstituting medications as needed; selecting, filling, and labeling prescription containers; and operating scanning equipment and/or automated dispensing systems to ensure prescription accuracy
• Work and grow in a collaborative and family-like atmosphere where you are more than just a number.
• Accurately input necessary data to keep patient records up to date. Analyze and review data for completeness and accuracy of documentation according to specified standards
