Job summary

Curant Health in Wichita, KS is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will support pharmacists, fill prescriptions, and help maintain patient records with accuracy and care.

Requirements include Kansas Pharmacy Technician registration, 2 years of tech experience, and strong communication skills; retail pharmacy experience preferred. This role emphasizes patient service and teamwork within our ICARE values.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accurately fills prescriptions by retrieving prescription orders, counting, pouring, measuring or weighing medication, labeling containers, and operating dispensing systems to ensure accuracy.
• Input data to maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure documentation meets standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues to support care.
• Support a collaborative, care-focused team environment.

Responsibilities

With your passion to help patients, your drive to make an impact on those you care for, and your commitment to customer service, you will serve as the primary link between our patients, physicians and pharmacy. We have listed a few or your responsibilities below:

• Accurately fills prescriptions by retrieving prescription orders; counting, pouring, measuring or weighing medication tablets, liquids, and creams; mixing or reconstituting medications as needed; selecting, filling, and labeling prescription containers; and operating scanning equipment and/or automated dispensing systems to ensure prescription accuracy
• Work and grow in a collaborative and family-like atmosphere where you are more than just a number.
• Accurately input necessary data to keep patient records up to date. Analyze and review data for completeness and accuracy of documentation according to specified standards

Qualifications

• Must be currently registered in the state of Kansas as a Pharmacy Technician
• 2 years pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
