Job summary

Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions is seeking a Community Health Center Pharmacist to dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care in community settings.

Responsibilities include patient consultation, medication therapy management, and potential management of high-risk patients, under supervision of a manager. A state Pharmacist registration is required along with a flexible schedule and strong customer service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
  • Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Under supervision of manager, dispense and ensure safe delivery of medications.
  • Maintain open communication with customers and practitioners for consultation.
  • Participate in supervision of technical staff and ensure 340B contract pharmacy compliance.
  • Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers of partner health facility.
  • Organize and direct technicians' workflow and verify orders and labeling.
