Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.

• May act as alternate store leader in absence of Pharmacist-In-Charge.
• Contact physicians regarding prescriptions questions.
• Dispense prescriptions and prepare I.V. admixtures where applicable.
• Monitor drug therapy for interactions and allergies.
• Maintain inventory and records of controlled substances.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with policies.
• Participate in inventory control and pricing accuracy.
• Attend facility and pharmacy programs and meetings.
• Support staff training, orientation, and educational activities.
• Communicate product updates and ensure teamwork.
