Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient information and counseling.
• May act as alternate store leader when Pharmacist-In-Charge/Pharmacy Manager absent.
• Contact physicians regarding prescription questions or irregularities.
• Dispense prescriptions, compound, and prepare I.V. admixtures if applicable.
• Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions and allergies.
• Maintain patients' medication records.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Participate in inventory control and pricing accuracy.
• Attend facility programs and staff meetings.
