Red Rock Pharmacy is looking for a PRN pharmacist position primarily intended to provide regular Saturday coverage, with additional shifts available as needed. Availability to work every Saturday is a required commitment of this position. Additional shifts will primarily be offered to provide coverage during full-time pharmacists’ scheduled vacations or other staffing needs.”We are looking for a hard-working, organized, problem-solving pharmacist with great attention to detail. Experience in long-term care pharmacy is preferred, but not required so long as the applicant is willing to learn.SPECIFIC PHARMACIST DUTIES:• Expert use and safety of medications dispensed.• Work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.• Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and ancillary help with filling, dispensing, labellingand packaging of medication.• Perform the final check on all medication.• Manage inventory and profitability.
