Job summary

Walnut Ridge Assisted Living seeks Personal Care Aides (PCA) and Resident Care Aides (RCA) to provide daily resident care and support in our community. This PRN role emphasizes compassionate care, assistance with activities of daily living, and respectful interaction with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State CNA certification required.
• CPR certification preferred for improved safety.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Protects resident confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Assist with daily living activities including turning, ambulating, and delivering meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene and bathing as needed.
• Provide adjunct patient care and comfort measures as directed.
• Monitor and document food intake and urinary/fecal output for medical staff.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses as required.
• Follow infection control practices and fire/emergency procedures.
