Responsibilities

• Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized.
• Assist patient with personal hygiene, bathroom needs, grooming.
• Monitor vital signs and report patient condition to RN.
• Assist nursing staff with basic treatments.
• Ensure adequate patient care supplies and clean linen.
• Provide emotional support to patients.
• Place patient on cardiac monitor.
• Assist with drains/ostomies/foley bags.
• Perform blood sugar checks.
• Support department leadership with other duties.
