OSS Health is seeking a part-time Patient Care Tech for the Med Surg/Ortho Unit at York, PA. The role works day shifts (6:45am–6:45pm) with 24 hours every 6 weeks, and 36 hours during peak months, plus one holiday shift.
Responsibilities include vital signs, patient care, data reporting to the RN, and maintaining safety and confidentiality. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and current BLS certification (or ability to obtain).

The Patient Care Tech performs patient care and unit functions under the direction of a registered nurse as a part of the health care team. Responsible for communicating completed assigned tasks to the registered nurse. Responsible for following established organization and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines of the hospital. Supports the philosophy and goals of OSS Orthopaedic Hospital.
Day shift; 6:45am-6:45pm - must work 24 hours every 6 weeks
During high volume months (September-December), must work 36 hours every 6 weeks
1 holiday (major or minor) shift required
