Job summary

NHC HomeCare Milan is seeking a PRN/Part Time Physical Therapist to join our team. The Physical Therapist supervises and participates in the application of physical therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases.

Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising PT services, delivering treatments as ordered by physicians, delegating portions of the program to the licensed physical therapy assistant, and instructing staff on goals and

Qualifications

• Graduate of a BS or MS level course in physical therapy as accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed or registered in the state where the therapist will practice.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Active membership in state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises physical therapy services.
• Provides PT services as ordered by the physician and delegates parts of the program to the licensed physical therapy assistant.
• Instructs staff on delegated functions, precautions, problems, goals and re-evaluation planning.
• Evaluates, plans and supervises treatments with short- and long-term goals and physician-approved re-evaluations.
