Job summary

First Responder Therapy Solutions in Texas is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to join our mental health and family medicine-focused practice. You will conduct medication management and collaborate with therapists to support first responders and their families in a confidential, compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Texas.
• Willing to learn medication management including ADD/ADHD and psychiatric meds.
• Background in family medicine.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and manage medication for ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other behavioral health needs under collaborative practice.
• Provide family medicine support for patients and families as part of whole-person care.
• Assist providers with evaluations, vital signs, and examinations.
• Maintain electronic health records in Athena with accurate documentation.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Support medication administration and prescribing per DEA regs.
• Aid in intake, discharge planning, and client communication.
• Collaborate with therapists and other providers to coordinate care.
