Job summary

Presbyterian Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, NM, seeks a compassionate PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care in an ambulatory and hospital setting. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based patient outcomes.

Minimum NM nursing license or compact license is required; ADN with BSN within 5 years is expected. BLS is required; specialty certifications are preferred and loan forgiveness and tuition reimbursement options are available.

Qualifications

• Licensure in the State of New Mexico or a Compact state.
• ADN degree required with BSN completion expected within 5 years.
• Specialty Certifications in area of practice preferred.
• BLS required for all staff; ACLS/PALS may be required for some areas.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for nurse visits in ambulatory care per clinic staffing models.
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for telephone triage in ambulatory care per clinic staffing models.
• Responsible for Medication Refill Management as an agent of the provider using approved nursing protocols.
• Ensures safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care of patients.
