Job summary

UF Health seeks a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat outpatient populations across Nocatee and Durbin Park clinics. The role develops treatment plans, educates patients, and documents care while meeting productivity targets.

The ideal candidate holds a PT degree (Florida licensure) and demonstrates strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration with staff and students in a teaching environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate or Master’s preferred.
• Current Florida Physical Therapy license.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform PT examinations and evaluations in simple and complex cases.
• Develop prognosis and plans of care with expected goals, frequency and duration.
• Select and modify treatment interventions and educate patients.
• Document and bill services according to guidelines.
• Supervise PT assistants and rehab techs as it relates to patient care.
• Participate in PI activities and department meetings.
• Represent department at meetings and assist with inventory and safety.
