Job summary

UF Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to support outpatient clinics in Florida. The role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, educating patients, and tracking progress to optimize outcomes.

You will document services, comply with insurance requirements, and collaborate with PT staff and students. Responsibilities include supervising assistants, participating in departmental improvement activities, and representing the department in meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required.
• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current Florida Physical Therapy license; BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy examinations and evaluations and develop plans of care.
• Provide patient education and modify treatment plans to achieve outcomes.
• Document services and ensure compliance with guidelines and insurance requirements.
• Supervise PT Assistants and Rehab Techs as needed and participate in PI activities.
• Serve as clinical instructor for PT students and coordinate with Education Coordinator.
