Inova Physical Therapy Center in Fairfax is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis for intermittent coverage, Monday through Friday. We offer a 1:1 patient treatment model, a formal mentorship program and a commitment to continuing education and personal growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required.
Virginia Physical Therapist Licensure or Physical Therapist compact privileges required upon start.
BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.
One year outpatient experience preferred.

Responsabilités

Select evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for patient diagnoses, ages, and status and formulate treatment plans.
Demonstrate competency in treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
Perform re-evaluations as per department guidelines and adjust plans accordingly.
Adhere to department policies for evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
