Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Lorain, OH is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician for the Outpatient Pharmacy on a PRN basis. You will assist with dispensing, inventory control, compliance audits, and patient interactions under the supervision of a Pharmacist.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Registered Pharmacy Technician license and a current driver’s license, with prior retail or outpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician License by the State Board of Pharmacy (required).
• Valid state driver’s license (required).
• Experience in Retail/Outpatient/Hospital/pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and verifying prescriptions.
• Recording patient information with prescriptions per guidelines.
• Educating patients on proper medication use.
• Supporting the Pharmacist in daily operations.
• Following infection-control protocols and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
