Job summary

Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a PRN/Per Diem Occupational Therapist to support our rehabilitation team in a 160-bed skilled nursing facility in New York. The OT will help residents improve ADLs, strength, and independence, working closely with an interdisciplinary team. New grads and experienced OTs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NY OT license and malpractice insurance.
• Experience with geriatric rehab and ADLs is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide PRN (as-needed) OT services to residents.
• Evaluate and treat geriatric patients with complex needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, speech and physical therapists.
