Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a PRN Orthopedic APP to support daytime and weekend or after-hours orthopedic services at our Randolph Road location. The role involves clinic coverage, OR support, and urgent care across multiple care settings.

Ideal candidates have orthopedic experience, NC PA or ACNP licensure, and DEA eligibility. The PRN APP will collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and inter-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality musculoskeletal care.

Qualifications

• Prior Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Active North Carolina licensure (PA or Acute Care NP).
• Must possess or be eligible for DEA licensure.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program required.
• NCCPA certification (PA) or national board certification (Acute Care NP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orthopedic clinic coverage.
• Operating room support as assigned.
• Orthopedic urgent care services.
• Community medicine coverage and specialty Orthopedic events.

Skills

Orthopedic experience

Education
