Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Colorado nursing license.
• Must complete BLS, ACLS and PALS within three months of hire.
• Two years of operating room experience required.
• Experience in ophthalmology and outpatient surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs circulating duties for all ophthalmic specialties in the ASC.
• Positions patients for safety and comfort and assists with operative setup.
• Assists anesthesia with intubation and extubation.
• Maintains aseptic technique and documents nursing interventions.
• Stocking and ordering medications in OR and by anesthesia.
