Job summary

Lowcountry Oncology Associates is seeking a dedicated Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse (PRN) to join our outpatient oncology team. The role requires travel to all four clinic locations in Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, Summerville, and North Charleston, with a schedule of Mon–Thurs, and at least 2 days per week per clinic.

You will provide infusion therapies, monitor patients, educate families, and document care in the EMR while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality

Qualifications

• Active SC RN license required and BLS certification.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is required.
• Background in Hematology/Oncology or infusion settings preferred.
• Oncology nursing certifications or education within 6 months of hire encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate infusion care for chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and biotherapy.
• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Review treatment plans for accuracy and communicate concerns to physicians.
• Administer prescribed therapies and manage infusion related adverse events.
• Document patient responses and care promptly in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, pharmacists, and nursing staff.
