Lowcountry Oncology Associates is seeking a Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse (PRN) to provide safe, compassionate outpatient infusion care for cancer patients across four clinic locations: Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, Summerville, and North Charleston.

The role requires current SC RN licensure, active BLS, and experience with EMR. You will administer chemotherapy, monitor patients, document care, and educate patients and families while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Current, unrestricted RN license in SC.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in outpatient infusion nursing or Hematology/Oncology is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to patients receiving outpatient infusion therapies.
• Assess patients before and during treatment, including vital signs and labs.
• Review treatment plans for accuracy and communicate with the care team as needed.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and other prescribed treatments per orders.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and intervene as required.
• Document assessments and treatments in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and side effects.
