Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide PRN weekend, PTO, and after-hours coverage in Wisconsin. This role involves independent work, reviewing and dispensing medications, and offering patient counseling.

Non-sterile compounding and on-call/overnight responsibilities are preferred, with compensation for on-call shifts and dispensing calls. Ideal candidates will have an active Wisconsin license, solid pharmacy experience, and the ability to handle urgent prescription

Qualifications

Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license is required.
Pharmacy experience is required.
Strong knowledge of prescription medications, drug interactions, dosing, and safety.
Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Review, verify, accept, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
Provide medication counseling to patients regarding dosage, interactions, side effects, and storage.
Respond to after-hours prescription and dispensing needs while working independently.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation.
Supervise and direct pharmacy staff as applicable.
Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
