Job summary

Concho Hearts Hospice is seeking an experienced on-call RN to provide after-hours nursing coverage in Corpus Christi, TX and surrounding areas. The role requires independent assessment, compassionate communication, and timely interventions for changes in patient condition.

You will respond to calls, conduct visits as needed, manage pain and symptoms, and coordinate with the physician and interdisciplinary team. Travel to patient homes is essential, with nights, weekends, and holidays included.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or NLC.
• Hospice nursing experience required.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours RN coverage nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Respond to calls requiring nursing assessment or intervention.
• Perform in-person visits when clinically indicated.
• Assess patient condition and provide nursing interventions.
• Manage pain and symptoms; coordinate with physicians.
