Job summary

Azria Health Winterset is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for PRN availability to support therapy services for residents in Iowa. This role focuses on hands-on patient care, collaboration with the care team, and delivering quality therapy programs across shifts.

You will implement treatment plans, educate families, document progress, and ensure confidentiality while adhering to CNRS policies and safety requirements. PRN flexibility is available to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Iowa.
• Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assessment, treatment and direction to staff on therapy matters.
• Assist patients with therapy prep, dressing, braces, prostheses, etc.
• Implement patient plan of care and monitor progress.
• Educate and motivate patients and families to improve functional activities.
• Document progress and home programs in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with regulatory standards.
