Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 1 year of experience preferred; hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing OT services, including treatment, program planning and implementation.
• Handle related documentation and communication.
• Work under a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.
• Participate in patient education and family instruction.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
