Job summary

PruittHealth Corporation in Georgia is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN schedule in our therapy services team. Join a leading post-acute care provider focused on patient care and safety.

Responsibilities include executing OT care plans, documenting tasks, following policies, and collaborating with therapists. Requirements: OTA associate degree, active GA OTA license, new graduates welcome, prior rehab/post-acute care experience preferred, strong communication

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current Georgia OTA license.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of the occupational therapy care plan and treatment to patients as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician according to the State Practice Acts.
• Perform clinical tasks, and communicate and document tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care.
• Complete all required orientation, in-services, and trainings successfully.
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor.
