Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility therapy team. You will assist in implementing the therapy care plan, document progress, and communicate with the supervising therapist to ensure high-quality patient care.

This role offers competitive compensation up to $100,000 annually, based on experience and location, plus comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities. Licensure and NBCOT eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Valid professional license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited program and NBCOT exam eligibility or passing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of the occupational therapy care plan and treatment to patients as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician according to the State Practice Acts
• Perform clinical tasks, and communicate and document tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care
• Complete all required orientation, in-services, and trainings successfully
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor
