Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and be part of a growing team in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will assist in delivering individualized care plans and contribute to achieving optimal functional outcomes for patients.

You will help implement treatment programs, support various phases of therapy, discuss progress with patients, and maintain accurate charts.

Responsibilities

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.
• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs with assistance of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
