Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide weekend coverage. This role involves delivering occupational therapy services to assigned patients in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment within a community hospital in Midlothian, Texas.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, plan, implement and re-assess patient care, aiming to enhance the patient experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Required valid Texas License or Temporary License for OT.
• Minimum of 1 year licensed Occupational Therapist experience.

Your Job

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Occupational Therapist PRN position renders professional and technical occupational therapy to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Occupational Therapy Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning).

Your Job Requirements
