Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide weekend coverage and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The OT will render professional services, evaluate, plan, and implement therapy while adhering to practice standards. The role requires Texas licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of licensed OT experience, with strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Texas license or temporary Texas license (active).
• 1 year licensed Occupational Therapist experience.

In this highly technical, fast‑paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Occupational Therapist PRN position renders professional and technical occupational therapy to assigned patients and provides direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Occupational Therapy Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re‑assessment and discharge planning).

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post‑baccalaureate program in Occupational Therapy
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Required Valid Texas License or Temporary License
• 1 year licensed Occupational Therapist
