Vertis Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN, as-needed basis at an assisted living community in Washington, DC. This role emphasizes meaningful, patient-centered care for older adults and helping residents maintain independence and safety.

You will assess residents, develop and implement treatment plans, document progress, and provide supervision to support staff.

Formación

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Prefer current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate residents' functional abilities and establish a plan of care to improve independence and safety.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants when applicable.
• Participate in or lead team development meetings.
• Lead or participate in community wellness programs and events.
