Job summary

Shenandoah Senior Living Community in Shenandoah, PA is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will provide resident-centered therapy to help maintain independence in daily activities within a skilled nursing setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a state license, have an OT degree, and bring strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills to collaborate with nurses, families, and other therapists to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents to enhance engagement in meaningful daily activities.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on functional goals.
• Teach techniques to support safety and independence in ADLs and IADLs.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train residents and caregivers on its use.
• Assess living environments and provide recommendations for modifications.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and family members for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, goals, and progress.
• Monitor and adjust care plans as needed.
