Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to restore function and independence in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

You will document progress, adjust plans as needed, and educate patients and families to support recovery. Commitment to compassionate care and clinical excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current Florida Occupational Therapist license.
• Current BLS through AHA.
• Current FIM within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient needs and developing individualized therapy plans with physicians.
• Delivering evidence‑based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans; document outcomes in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure safe transitions and high quality care.
• Lead by example and support therapy assistants or students.
