Job summary

Willow Point Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Kansas City, KS is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. The role focuses on cognitive and ADL functioning, delivering evidence-based therapy in a skilled nursing setting.

As part of CAPLICO values, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, provide assessments, develop plans of care, document progress, discharge summaries, and communicate with families and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with current licensure.
• Open to applicants of all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL functioning disorders and develop plans of care.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled treatment per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (ADL retraining, exercises, modalities, assistive devices).
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and refer as needed based on outcomes.
