Victoria Care Center in Ventura, CA, is a skilled nursing facility offering long-term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric services. We are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program to support residents in recovery and help them regain independence.

The role offers a flexible PRN schedule with pay ranging from $47 to $55 per hour, opportunities to apply evidence-based approaches, and collaboration with a compassionate health-team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in good standing.
• Open to applicants of all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL disorders and develop care plans.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment per regulatory requirements.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and device use.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record.
• Evaluate outcomes and refer as needed.
• Provide counseling to patients and families about physical disorders.
• Communicate progress with supervisor and health team.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries.
