Job summary

The Center at Waterfront is hiring PRN Occupational Therapists to plan, organize, develop, and direct our facility’s Occupational Therapy Services in accordance with applicable standards and regulations to assure the highest quality care.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating care plans with goals, and coordinating with COTAs, DOR, therapy staff, and nursing staff to ensure effective treatment and accurate charting of notes and labor hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform Occupational Therapy evaluations, complete care plans, establish goals, and communicate frequently with COTAs who will assist in implementing these care plans and goals.
• Effectively communicate with the DOR, therapy staff, and nursing staff regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• Verify patient information and appropriately chart, to include therapy notes, treatment times, and labor hours.
