Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to support therapy services in South Carolina (Conway). The role involves conducting evaluations and treatments per patient plans, with emphasis on accurate documentation and timely care.

The OT must hold an active SC license and NBCOT eligibility/certification. This PRN position offers opportunities for ongoing professional growth within a leading post-acute care provider.

Qualifications

• Active occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
• NBCOT certification or eligibility.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OT program.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, assessments, and treatments per policy and individualized OT plan.
• Complete documentation and records in a timely, accurate manner.
• Follow organizational policies and scope of practice.
• Prioritize patient care needs with sound judgment.
• Complete orientations and trainings as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Performs other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Licensure, Certification, And Educational Requirements

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
