Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Georgia‑Carrollton to join Therapy Services on a PRN, 1st shift basis. You will conduct evaluations, design and implement OT care plans, and ensure timely documentation in line with policies. We value patient‑centered care and uphold high safety and credential standards.

Requirements include a valid OT license in the state and NBCOT eligibility. This role offers opportunities for professional growth within a leading post‑acute care

Qualifications

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of ACOTE‑accredited program and eligible to take or has passed NBCOT.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, assessments, and treatments per individualized OT care plan.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow policies related to scope of practice.
• Prioritize patient care with initiative and sound judgment.
• Complete orientations, in-services and trainings timely.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
